Nakasendo Warabi-juku Plant Market & Warabi Wisteria Festival
A spring festival held annually on April 29 (Showa Day) in Warabi City. The old Nakasendo road features plant and seedling sales, a post-town open-air flea market, a chigo-san (child attendant) procession, and a 'Walk the Nakasendo in Kimono' event. The wisteria arbor at Sangaku-in Temple is also in full bloom.
