函館港まつり（ワッショイはこだて）
1935年から続く函館を代表する夏祭り。
初日の道新花火大会を皮切りに、市民が「函館港おどり」や「函館いか踊り」を踊りながら街を練り歩く「ワッショイはこだて」が開催される。8月1日〜5日の5日間、函館市内各所で多彩なイベントが繰り広げられる。当日自由参加も可能。
