The 'Itchaga Miyazaki Kusunoki Namiki Morning Market' started in 2009. 'Itchaga' means 'isn't it great!' in Miyazaki dialect. Established as a regional revitalization event utilizing the beautiful camphor tree avenue in front of the Miyazaki Prefectural Office, it received the Miyazaki Prefecture Regional Development Award in 2013.

The avenue becomes a pedestrian zone on market mornings, with fresh produce, marine products, and food trucks from across the prefecture. Received the Miyazaki Prefecture Regional Development Award in 2013.
