紀和の火祭り
北山川の河原で毎年8月第1土曜に行われる伝統行事。
約20mの柱松に紐付きの松明を投げ入れる「柱まつり」が見どころで、北山砲の再現発射や太鼓演奏、幅200m超のナイアガラを含む花火も上がる。火祭りは18:00〜21:30、花火は21:00〜21:15予定。
