18時30分頃から屋形舟繰り出し、19時45分〜21時に協賛花火打ち上げ。江戸中期の大飢饉で亡くなった人の供養のためにわらで作った舟を蛇の崎川原に繰り出したのが由来。供養をすませた舟が蛇の崎橋の上でぶつかり合い、お城山から打ち上げられる花火との共演は見どころ。
