69th Zushi Beach Fireworks Festival

Approximately 7,000 fireworks with a music-synchronized grand finale. Beautiful reflections on the sea surface. Zushi's largest event with about 100,000 visitors. Close proximity to launch point for powerful views.

The Zushi Beach Fireworks Festival is a long-standing summer tradition, with the 2026 edition being the 69th. Co-organized by Zushi City and the Zushi Tourism Association, supported by citizens and corporate sponsors. Hometown tax donations also support the event.

Zushi Beach, Shinjuku, Zushi, Kanagawa. 15 min walk from JR Yokosuka Line Zushi Station; 15 min walk from Keikyu Zushi Line Zushi-Hayama Station. Traffic restrictions on event day. No car access.

Extremely crowded with 100,000 visitors. Paid viewing seats (sheet and chair seats) recommended for advance purchase. Spot-saving begins in the morning. Trains are very crowded after the show, so staying at the beach for 30-60 minutes after the finale is advisable.

Event date: May 21, 2026 (Thu) 19:20-20:15. In case of rain/severe weather, may be cancelled without postponement (confirm in advance). Bring a picnic sheet and warm layers (sea breeze is chilly). No car access; use public transportation. Paid sheet/chair seats available by pre-registration.
