The 39th Teruhime Festival
A traditional festival in Nerima Ward based on the legend of Muromachi-era Shakujii Castle lord Toshima Yasutsune and his daughter Teruhime. The highlight is the Teruhime Procession, where about 100 participants dressed in period costumes parade around Shakujii Park. One of Nerima Ward's two major festivals, continuing since 1988.
