Mito Oshoro-nagashi (Spirit Boat Sending)
A Bon Festival spirit-sending ceremony held early morning on August 16. Children tow an approximately 5-meter straw boat out to sea to send off ancestral spirits. Designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property by Miura City.
