71st Ooka Echizen Festival
The '71st Ooka Echizen Festival,' honoring the famous Edo-period magistrate Ooka Echizen-no-kami Tadasuke, will be held on April 18 (Sat) and 19 (Sun), 2026, around the north exit of Chigasaki Station. This annual festival is held due to the connection that the Ooka family's territory was in northern Chigasaki and their family grave is at Joken-ji Temple.
