第64回おおむた「大蛇山」まつり

大牟田市の夏を代表する伝統的な大祭。

全長約10m・高さ約5m・重さ最大3トンの大蛇山の山車が火煙を吐きながら大正町を練り歩く。市民による「一万人の総踊り」も見どころで、炭坑節や大蛇山ばやしに合わせ約2kmにわたり踊りが繰り広げられる。
