Senshu Park Cherry Blossom Festival 2026
Held at Senshu Park, the site of former Kubota Castle, residence of the Satake clan who ruled the Akita domain. Over 600 cherry trees bloom alongside about 70 food stalls. Evening illuminations run from 6 to 10 PM. A monkey show is also held during the festival.
