鎌倉×ニースBLUEフェスタは、鎌倉市とフランス・ニース市の姉妹都市提携60周年を記念して初開催された体験型イベント。鎌倉市役所駐車場が南仏マルシェのような賑やかな空間に変貌し、鎌倉発のフレンチレストランや人気飲食店が集結。イベント限定のオリジナルクラフトビールやワインの飲み比べが楽しめるほか、地元の新鮮野菜や生花、アンティーク雑貨など掘り出し物を探す楽しみもある。ステージでは両市長によるトークセッションや市内小学生のパフォーマンス、シャンソンの生演奏が行われ、日仏文化が自然に融合する心地よい時間が流れる。リユース食器や循環型マーケットなどサステナブルな運営にも力を入れており、これからの鎌倉らしい国際交流のかたちを感じられるイベントとして注目を集めた。
