Sengokuhara Yutate Shishi-mai (National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property)
A yutate shishi-mai (lion dance with boiling water ritual) performed at Sengokuhara Suwa Shrine, designated as a National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property. Yamabushi (mountain ascetics) blow horagai (conch shell horns) while performing the yutate sacred ritual. Held annually on April 17.
