球磨川河川敷中川原公園一帯から3,000〜5,000発の花火が打ち上げられる夏の風物詩。
城跡を背景に、川面に映る花火が特徴。打ち上げ時間19:30〜20:30。
小雨決行、荒天時は8月28日(金)または9月11日(金)に延期。
