Itsukushima Wetland Park 'Bamboo Lantern Evening'

An enchanting annual event held in late May at Itsukushima Wetland Park. Over 2,500 bamboo lanterns crafted from bamboo forest maintenance illuminate the park, with firefly viewing also possible. Free bamboo lantern lighting experience is offered. A community tradition since 2006.
