Gosho Hachiman Shrine Grand Festival
A festival with over 860 years of history, selected as one of 'Kanagawa's 50 Festivals.' Four district floats and two mikoshi parade through town, with a nighttime 'river entry' ritual at Nakamura River. The 'Heron Dance' offered in dedication is a town-designated important cultural property. Held annually on April 29 (Showa Day).
